Dr. Himanshu Krishna is a highly esteemed Chief Neurosurgeon based in Lucknow, bringing over 18 years of rigorous surgical experience. His journey began at the prestigious King George's Medical University (KGMC), where his dedication was recognized with a Gold Medal in his Master of Surgery (M.S.). Following his M.S., he pursued an MCh in Neurosurgery from the elite Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI). Driven by a passion to offer the world's most advanced treatments to his patients, he further honed his skills in microneurosurgery during a fellowship at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Himanshu believes in continuous learning. His quest for excellence took him to Davos, Switzerland for an Advance Spine Course, and later to Sung Kyun Kwan University in South Korea, where he specialized in cutting-edge endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgeries. Today, as the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery & Spine at Health City Vistaar, he manages a 24/7 dedicated neuro-ICU and performs complex procedures, including brain tumor excisions, spinal deformity corrections, and vascular lesion surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and recovery.
